I am Adjunct Professor of Economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where I completed my Ph.D. After my Post-Doc at the M.I.T. I combined Economics Research with positions that require involvement in Economic Policy, among them Director of the Research Department at the Bank of Israel, which includes the Economic Advising to the Government. I am Co-Editor of the Israel Economic Review since its first publication in April 2003.
My research concentrates in Public Economics and Macroeconomics. I have published papers on Taxation, Transfer Programs and Fiscal Policy. Concerning the Israeli Economy, I have published papers on Fiscal Policy, Government Debt, Growth, Taxation and the impact of the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Program on employment and inequality.
